FOCUS/SWOT-ACC EM-APEX Data README
Version 1.0

Files
-----
FOCUS_SWOT_ACC_EMAPEX_f10317_v1.0.nc
FOCUS_SWOT_ACC_EMAPEX_f10331_v1.0.nc

Source
------
These files are subsets of the official SQUID aggregated EM-APEX gridded NetCDF product, SQUID_all.nc, produced by the Applied Physics Laboratory, University of Washington.

Content
-------
The release contains EM-APEX floats f10317 and f10331 associated with the FOCUS/SWOT-ACC observing program. The original SQUID common-depth-grid structure and variables are retained, including temperature, salinity, pressure, horizontal velocity, temperature-variance dissipation, profile time, position and profile identifiers.

Processing
----------
- f10317 and f10331 were extracted into separate NetCDF files.
- The original observation-slot structure was retained.
- For observation slots with missing pid and hpid, placeholder zero values in time, latitude and longitude were replaced with NaN.
- In f10331, the records at obs = 21 (pid = 11, hpid = 21) and obs = 22 (pid = 11, hpid = 22) were identified as having anomalous geographic positions. All variables containing the obs dimension for these two records were set to missing values.
- No additional interpolation, recalibration or regridding was applied.

Provenance
----------
Original SQUID creators: James Girton and Aurelie Moulin, Applied Physics Laboratory, University of Washington.

FOCUS/SWOT-ACC subset processing: Senming Sheng, Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS), University of Tasmania.
